Kate Miller possesses 12 years in the marketing/design industry and has built the success of KMD over the past 5 years. Winner of four American Graphic Design Awards, Kate Miller Design continues to reform the style, methods and tools necessary to achieve outstanding design.
She is married to mountain bike enthusiast, Tyler Miller, living and playing in Bend, Oregon with their 4-year-old son Evan. With laptop in hand, Kate loves to travel – cheering Tyler on at every race and exploring new territory with Evan. “Fortunate” does not begin to express her achievements in life.
Once you decide to work with KMD, the design process goes a little something like this -
Initial - Once you have a project that requires some design attention, the best step is to contact Kate Miller. Call, email or submit a request for contact – I am always eager to hear from you! From there, I will conduct an initial inquiry for things such as a general outline of your design needs, design specifications, resources, timeline and budget.
Proposal - Next it’s my turn to provide you with a concept based on a design translation of your needs, desires and marketing goals. The proposal will either include a description of how I envision the design (such as a logo) or an actual sample of the layout (such as a website). A timeline for project completion as well as estimated cost for services will be included.
Cost - Knowing full well that price is a factor that can ultimately make or break the deal, my priority is to work within your projected budget to give you the best custom design I can provide. I believe that a greater investment will open more doors and offer limitless capabilities, but that a lower-end project can also achieve an exceptional design presence on the similar level. My goals are directed toward a commitment to design success over big dollars in the end.
